Wally Bills B.C. Rich Bodine (Eagle) Bass

A '78 B.C. Rich Bodine. At least I think it's a Bodine. From what I've read, they added stringers running parallel to the neck when they started calling it the Eagle. But otherwise it's basically the same. I got it in Atlanta in the late '80s. This was my main bass for several years. Had to get the bridge replaced, still a Bad Ass bridge, but everything else is original.

Neck through constructions. Bernie Rico was one of the early luthiers to make them.

Active Electronics. The three round knobs are Tone, Booster volume, and Volume. The chickenhead knob is the Varitone control. The three switches are (2) "Dual Sound Switches" that gives each pickup a higher frequency and (1) phase switch that gives it a real funky tone. The other small switch turns the booster on and off. The larger switch is the pick up selector.
